Neta Seuala
Neta returned to New Zealand March 2008, having lived in Australia for the seven years prior. Whilst in Australia he worked in Mental Health in both the private and public sector experiencing several different approaches in the mental health field.
Returning back to his homeland he had visions of working in a whole different field, as the last position he held in Australia was working for the Commonwealth Bank-Insurance however, Wellink advertised and advertised well!
Before moving to Australia Neta had work in the Forensic unit-Capital Coast Health-Porirua Hospital for 3 years and prior to this he worked in various fields in the health sector including work with IHC, challenging behaviour, aged care, and community mental health areas. Neta has various in house training certificates, as well as the national recognised certificates in bridging health science, managing medication, dealing with challenging behaviour, and working with children.
Neta is currently studying toward a degree in social work and is in his first year, a challenging but rewarding effort. Neta believes the experiences he has had in the health field builds a backbone for future studies and is open to new approaches and new avenues of learning.
Neta believes in equal opportunities and exploring all resources’ available for people who require support. He believes in working together as a team to reach goals, striving for best outcome, recovery focused approach and ensuring that people he cares for have a sense of happiness.
