Accreditation and Certification
Wellink is Quality Accredited and Certified with Quality Health New Zealand.
Quality Health New Zealand's 2001 standards are the third edition of accreditation standards for the Health and Disability sector in New Zealand. As well as being based on best international practice, the standards have been designed to fit with the Government's health strategy, incorporating the concept of a service continuum for clients, the requirements for organisations to coordinate and link with other services and organisations to ensure continuity for clients, and a population health or wellness approach.
Wellink's current Certificate of Acceditation runs from October 2007 to October 2010. This accreditaiton recognises the quality of healthcare Wellink delivers and its commitment to continuous improvement. This has been demonstrated by achievement of standards and continuous quality improvement in care, service and safety.
