Making a Donation
Thank you for considering making a donation. As you know, there is less and less money to do the things we have to do, let alone the things we would like to do, to keep Wellink leading the way.
If you would like to make a donation, there are some easy ways to do it.
By Cheque
Mail us a cheque to:
The Wellink Trust
P.O. Box 6516
Wellington 6141
Please write ‘donation’ on the back of the cheque, and give us your mailing details. All donations of $5 or more are tax deductible, and so we will issue you with a receipt.
Give regularly
Regular contributions are an extremely helpful way to support what we do. An automatic payment is a convenient way to do this and allows us to be able to plan for the future, based on regular donations from your bank account.
If you would like to set up an automatic payment, you can do this online with your bank. Please use our account number

Direct credit
You can call in to any Westpac branch to make a donation, or you can pay by direct credit.

Remember us in your will – make a bequest
A bequest is a gift in your Will to Wellink. Naturally, your friends and family come first, and anything you can leave to Wellink will help us reach more people and develop stronger communities.
To make a bequest, it is best to have a Will, which sets out what you would like to happen with what you own after you die. A solicitor can help you with this, often for free.
If you wish to leave something to Wellink, your solicitor can make sure that your wishes are included. If you want to add a bequest to a Will you already have, your solicitor can add a ‘codicil’ for you.
Wellink would recommend that for a Specific Bequest you write something like:
'I give and bequeath to THE WELLINK TRUST, whose office is at 203 Willis Street, Wellington, the sum of $____________ dollars for its general purposes, and I declare that the acknowledgement in writing by the Secretary or other authorised officer thereof shall be a sufficient discharge to my Trustees of this bequest.'
If you want to make what’s called a Residual Bequest, where you donate what’s left of your estate after other bequests, you could write something like:
‘Subject as aforesaid I give, devise and bequeath the whole (or a _____________ share) of the residue of my estate whatsoever and wheresoever both real and personal to THE WELLINK TRUST whose office is at 203 Willis Street, Wellington, the sum of $____________ dollars for its general purposes, and I declare that the acknowledgement in writing by the Secretary or other authorised officer thereof shall be a sufficient discharge to my Trustees of this bequest.'
Using either of these choices allows you to make a general bequest to be used for Wellink’s purposes. If you have specific things you’d like your bequest to be used for, you can make special conditions. Talk to your solicitor to make sure you organised your Will as you wish to.
