
The Consumer Governance Group (CGG) has evolved out of what was formerly the Consumer Participation Team, which was established in 1998 to provide a Wellink service user voice on decisions, strategies, policies and practice within Wellink.
The objectives of the Consumer Governance Group are to:
- Maintain links with Wellink service users
- Ensure service planning and development is directed by service users
- Identify gaps and propose innovative solutions for services
- Be involved in evaluation mechanisms to ensure recovery and continuous quality improvement practices are implemented
- Provide advice on policy development and review
- Provide two members to the Board of Trustees
- Provide feedback from CGG to the Board and vice versa
